New possibilities for MFI...
One of the primary organizing principles of MFI is access. We want to make this experience available to as many dancers as we can.
In order to do this, we are considering running an additional, shorter, second edition of MFI!
MFI Week 2 would run from Saturday to Wednesday, June 14th to 18th, and is intended to expand options for those who are unable (or would prefer not) to take a full week off of work. It would feature instruction in the same styles with many of the same teachers, and the target level range of attendees would be the same for both events.
Running Week 2 is dependent on having enough accepted applicants that desire this option! In the menu below, you’ll find a ticket pricing breakdown for both event options.
In your applications, you will have an opportunity to indicate your preference.
TICKET PRICES

A Guide to Ticket Pricing-
$660
This base pricing level covers lodging & meals, and tuition costs that are not already subsidized by funding from community donors. It is suggested for people who have access to savings, investments, and/or inheritance, or who identify as middle or upper class. Holler to our techies, lawyers, doctors, folks that work in $$$, etc.
$500
This pricing level covers lodging & meals, and 33% of tuition costs (the remainder of which is subsidized by funding from community donors). This pricing level is suggested for people who can generally pay full price for most fusion weekenders, and who don't see themselves in the option above or below
$330
This pricing level covers 80% of lodging & meal costs, and the remainder of all costs are subsidized by funding from community donors. This pricing level is suggested for low-income & working class folks, people without access to comfortable savings, investments, or inheritance, or people from historically disenfranchised communities.

Receiving:
We are hard at work raising additional money for our scholarship fund. The amount we are able to raise will impact how much more scholarship support is available. In previous years, we have been able to offer an amount of scholarship funding to all who have requested it.
If you would need additional scholarship funding beyond the lowest ticket price offered in either week in order to attend MFI 2025, you will have the opportunity to request this funding in your application.
Contributing:
If you are interested in contributing to our scholarship fund, you will have the opportunity to indicate so in your application. Any amount paid over your selected ticket cost helps us bring this unique educational opportunity to dancers experiencing economic instability in our scene.
You can also send a donation directly to @millavt on Venmo with “Myrtlewood Scholarship Donation” in the tagline. If you are a PNW local, you are also invited to our Fundraising Gala in Seattle this winter, January 31st.
We thank you for your support!
